Kandinsky was an artist who was inspired by music. His art, although mainly composed of lines and colors, was powerful. 6th graders had fun listening to different types of music and using lines that mimicked what they heard. They were then selective and chose only necessary lines to make an interesting composition. As the last part of this assignment, we used watercolor markers and watercolor pencils to add color!
