Sixth graders learned about color last week! They now know how to read a color wheel and how to mix primary colors to make secondary colors. We had fun mixing colors for our color wheels.
Students also learned about complementary color pairs--red and green, blue and orange, and yellow and violet. They worked on mixing those complementary colors to create different values, and applied them to pumpkins. It was a fun way to celebrate the beginning of Fall, as well as all the possibilities that color mixing provides!
