After school last week, Mrs. Taylor and myself had a great time working with 5 volunteers to participate in making art for an art show that we were invited to participate in. Each student chose a flower that grows here in the Shenandoah Valley and used the medium of their choice to produce a work that has been entered into the show. Shenandoah National Park's new "Youth Art in the Park" contest will be part of this year's Wildflower Weekend, May 9-10, 2015. Comments are closed.

Welcome Hillyard Artists!
I am excited for this school year! I look forward to working with and getting to know my art students. As we begin our journey together this year we look for your best efforts each day. Only through practice do we gain skill and grow!
